CEEC Employment Opportunities

We are hiring! The following are the recommended hourly wages for new hiring and current employees during the fiscal raises. 
  • $14.00/hour – Experience in childcare
  • $15.00/hour – CDA or AA in related field
  • $16.00/hour – AA in Education or BA in related field
  • $17.00/hour – BA in Education
  • $18.00/hour – BA in Education or Teacher Certificate
  • $19.00/hour – MA/MS in Education without Teacher Certificate
  • $20.00/hour – MA/MS in Education with Teacher Certificate

Additional Compensation

Each employee with a CDA or above is eligible for a yearly merit award provided through the STARS program. The amounts are as follows and are not conditional. Upon hire, new employees are made aware of their eligibility and how this is intended to compensate for their hourly wage. Employees are eligible after one year of employment. The amount listed is for an employee that works at least 35 hours per week. Part-time employees are able to qualify for the merit award; the amounts awarded are based on the hours worked per week.

Employee Pay Increases

Based on the fiscal year, all employees are eligible for pay increases. Pay increases are based on performance and yearly pay rate changes.
