Children learning and playing at Carlisle Early Education Center.Welcome to Carlisle Early Education Center!
…CEEC for short.

CEEC provides a nurturing daycare environment where children are exposed to the creative arts and a range of experiences in their community. These principles prepare children for the challenges they will face in elementary school as well as in life. CEEC serves children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.

CEEC boasts one of the strongest preschool programs in the area. Teachers strive to instill in each child a positive self-image and encourage children to develop a sense of independence as well as motivation to explore creative outlets for their emotions. Children are encouraged to develop a sense of community-based on personal and social responsibility.

Our programs also promote Literacy Development, Self Esteem Building and Social Skills. CEEC believes that young children need an environment that supports their learning by providing hands-on, child-initiated activities. These activities offer children a wide range of opportunities to directly experience and manipulate new ideas and objects while having fun.

The Creative Curriculum is the curriculum used at CEEC. The Creative Curriculum balances both teacher-directed and child initiated learning, with an emphasis on responding to children’s learning styles and building on their strengths and interests. This leading, research-based curriculum applies the latest theory and research on best practices in teaching and learning and the content standards developed approach of earlier editions. This curriculum clearly defines the teacher’s vital role in connecting content, teaching, and learning for children. It features goals and objectives linked directly to our valid and reliable assessment instruments. It is also cross-walked with the PA Early Learning Standards.

We are proud employers of highly qualified and educated teachers. Many of our teachers have a degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education or a related field. Most also have several years of experience working with children. Their education and experience allow them to provide a variety of quality hands-on learning opportunities for children of all ages.
