Carlisle Early Education Center began in 1964 as the Carlisle Day Care Center, founded by the YWCA. Since its beginning, CEEC has remained committed to providing nurturing, stimulating learning experiences that help children grow with confidence.
CEEC is a private, local nonprofit organization guided by a Board of Directors made up of Carlisle-area community members and parents of children enrolled in our programs.

Carlisle Early Education Center has been part of the Carlisle community for more than six decades. Originally founded in 1964 as the Carlisle Day Care Center by the YWCA, CEEC has continued to grow while remaining true to its mission of providing exceptional early education in a nurturing environment.
Today, CEEC is a private, local nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of community members and parents. Every decision we make is focused on strengthening our programs, supporting families, and investing in children—not shareholders.
Because we are a nonprofit, our success is measured by the impact we make in the lives of children and families throughout our community.
