Programs

Carlisle Early Education Center serves children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.

• The CEEC infant program focuses on meeting the daily needs of infants and building the trust and emotional security nurtured by daily interaction with responsive, affectionate adults.
• CEEC’s toddler program, focuses on helping toddlers find appropriate ways to assert themselves. We do this by supporting their individuality and by giving them a choice in matters of concern, whenever possible. Teachers help toddlers learn to cooperate by introducing social guidelines.

CEEC boasts one of the strongest preschool programs in the area. Teachers strive to instill in each child a positive self-image and encourage children to develop a sense of independence as well as motivation to explore creative outlets for their emotions. Children are encouraged to develop a sense of community based on personal and social responsibility.

Our programs also promote Literacy Development, Self Esteem Building and Social Skills. CEEC believes that young children need an environment which supports their learning by providing hands on, child initiated activities. These activities offer children a wide range of opportunities to directly experience and manipulate new ideas and objects, while having fun.

Curriculum

The Creative Curriculum is the curriculum used at CEEC. The Creative Curriculum balances both teacher-directed and child initiated learning, with an emphasis on responding to children’s learning styles and building on their strengths and interests. This leading, research-based curriculum applies the latest theory and research on best practices in teaching and learning and the content standards developed approach of earlier editions. This curriculum clearly defines the teacher’s vital role in connecting content, teaching, and learning for children. It features goals and objectives linked directly to our valid and reliable assessment instruments. It is also cross-walked with the PA Early Learning Standards.

Language Classes

Get ready to dive into the vibrant world of our Language Programs as we proudly present our immersive Mandarin and Spanish classes, launched within the past year! At CEEC, we believe in making language learning a joyous journey, and our Language Program is crafted to captivate your child’s curiosity and imagination. Your little ones will engage in hands-on experiences, writing, singing, and dancing, ensuring an interactive and entertaining Mandarin and or Spanish education. Beyond language, our program fosters cultural awareness, providing a well-rounded learning experience that goes beyond the basics.
